There’s luxury—and then there’s the 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ. VUE had the opportunity to take Cadillac’s latest all-electric crossover on a weeklong drive from the pulse of Atlanta to the tranquil coastline of Tybee Island. The verdict? A refined, futuristic EV experience that didn’t just meet expectations, it exceeded them.

Range That Goes the Distance

With an EPA-estimated 302 miles of range, the Cadillac OPTIQ made the 260-mile journey to Tybee on a single full charge. It delivered peace of mind without the pressure of constant stops.

When it was time to recharge, DC fast-charging added up to 79 miles of range in just 10 minutes—ideal for quick, effortless breaks during city errands or longer trips.

Designed for the Drive and the Destination

From its signature lighting choreography to a panoramic roof-encompassing glasswork, this Cadillac feels like more than a vehicle—it’s a statement. Even parked, it draws attention. The light signature alone feels like a personal welcome, blending tech and theater in true Cadillac fashion.

The drive was equally impressive, thanks to 300 horsepower, 354 lb-ft of instant torque, and a dual-motor AWD system that hugged every curve of Georgia’s coastal highways. It created a balance that made weaving through traffic or gliding down empty scenic stretches equally enjoyable.

Inside, the experience is just as elevated. The 33-inch LED display, 19-speaker AKG audio system with Dolby Atmos, and interior materials made from recycled yarn and PaperWood veneer show Cadillac’s commitment to both innovation and sustainability.

Every surface feels well thought out, and the technology feels intuitive. Voice controls were responsive, and the curved display offered crisp visuals, even in full daylight.
