From August 26th through August 30th, the spectacular 2026 PGA Tour Championship took place at East Lake Golf Club, Atlanta’s oldest and most venerated golf course. The Tour Championship has been held at East Lake 26 times since 1998. Vue Atlanta was among the media outlets able to attend the Tour Championship.
The Tour Championship is one of the Professional Golf Association’s most prestigious tournaments with the top professional golfers in the United States competing for a $40 million purse. This year, Scottie Scheffler secured his 22nd PGA Tour win. Going pro in 2018, Scheffler has been nothing short of a phenom. His accomplishments include wins in two Masters Tournaments (2022 and 2024), 2020 PGA Rookie of the Year, and a gold medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Scheffler is also at the top of the PGA Tour career money list with over $130 million earned.
Multiple reserved and private hospitality options were available for guests seeking enhanced comforts and amenities. Regardless of what part of the golf course they spectated from, guests left the event with an unforgettable experience as the scenic East Lake Golf Club was abuzz with excitement for Scheffler, arguably the best golfer since Tiger Woods, further asserting his status as the world’s current best golfer.
