Behind the Seams: Sal Lauretta for Men

Sal Lauretta held a night of fashion and excitement on May 23, at their Behind the Seams event. The event was held at Bottagra Restaurant in Hawthorne, New Jersey showcasing the latest 2017 spring and summer trends from Sal Lauretta for Men and Boutique 811.

The superior European tailoring and luxury menswear available at Sal Lauretta for Men is known throughout the Bergen County area in New Jersey. Growing up in Vittoria, Sicily, Sal Lauretta learned the tricks of the men’s tailoring trade from his father Raffaele. Lauretta learned how to differentiate between quality material and cheaper cloth, and what nuances of fitting make the cut of a jacket perfect. Lauretta learned how the seemingly tiniest of details can affect the entire outcome of a piece of clothing. The art of this classic European tailoring style would be their ticket to success in a new land.

At Behind the Seams, guests got to experience a fashion show of 2017 spring and summer trends from these two luxury stores while also enjoying a large outside lounge area, pre-fashion show cocktails, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, live and silent auctions, and special amenities.

Proceeds from Behind the Seams went to Eva’s Village, a nonprofit that provides a multitude of social service programs to the less fortunate including shelter, food, substance abuse counseling and treatment, primary medical and dental care and transitional housing opportunities.
