F1 Arcade Atlanta has officially opened on February 6 at The Interlock in West Midtown, bringing the world’s first official Formula 1 experiential hospitality brand to Georgia. Designed as a social destination rather than a traditional arcade, F1 Arcade combines immersive racing simulators, elevated food and cocktails, and a high-energy atmosphere built for groups, celebrations, and corporate events.
Inside, the space opens up around the simulators. Quotes from Formula 1 drivers line the walls, people drift between races and the bar, and the energy stays consistent without ever tipping into overwhelming.
Racing That Feels Surprisingly Real
Yes, I raced. And yes, it felt very real.
After a quick onboarding from the hosts, you step into a full-motion simulator that responds to every turn, brake, and acceleration. The movement is immersive without being disorienting, and within a lap or two, it truly feels natural. Multiple skill levels make the experience accessible, whether you are racing for the first time or competing.
If you are a beginner like me, Rookie mode is both humbling and very necessary
What makes the racing especially engaging is how social it becomes. Each simulator includes a spectator screen, so even when you are not driving, you can watch friends race, track lap times, and cheer from the sidelines. It keeps the entire group involved and turns each race into a shared moment rather than a solo experience.

Cocktails Worth the Pit Stop
The bar plays just as big a role in the night as the racing itself. Curated by Drink Masters champion LP O’Brien, the cocktail program feels thoughtful and well-matched to the pace of the experience. The Georgia Tow stood out as a true Atlanta signature and was easily one of the most impressive drinks I had. Balanced and memorable, it is the kind of cocktail that holds its own even without the novelty of racing. The Purple Sector added something lighter and more playful to the table, definitely making it an easy choice between races.
Dining at The F1 Arcade
Food at F1 Arcade goes well beyond what you might expect from an arcade-style venue. The menu is designed for sharing, which works perfectly with the rhythm of racing.

We tried the Dynamite Fried Chicken, Spicy Ahi Tuna Tartare, Wagyu Beef Sliders, Chipotle Tiger Shrimp Tacos, Crispy Potato Pavé Bites, and the Himalayan Salt Dry-Aged Flat Iron Steak. The clear favorite was the Wagyu Beef Sliders. Rich, satisfying, and easy to share, they were the bite we at VUE kept reaching for.
The atmosphere is what ultimately ties everything together. The space stays lively without feeling chaotic, and it is easy to settle into the flow of racing, eating, and watching others compete. You come for a race and end up staying for another round, another drink, or, honestly, just to see how the leaderboard shakes out.
F1 Arcade Atlanta also works particularly well for group outings. Whether it is a work event, a celebration, or a night out with friends, the shared racing formats and flexible layout give everyone something to do without forcing participation. It feels interactive yet relaxed, making it easy for people with different personalities to enjoy the experience in their own way.
Set in West Midtown at The Interlock, F1 Arcade fits naturally into Atlanta’s growing entertainment scene. You do not need to be a Formula 1 fan to enjoy it. The experience is intuitive, social, and built around connection as much as competition. Racing may be the draw, but the food, cocktails, and atmosphere are what make it a place worth coming back to.
