Background

The name of this restaurant came from a restaurant manager and chef, Rich Clark and Jon Schwenk.  They originally developed a friendship in the kitchen of a famous French eatery in Buckhead, Brasserie Le Coze.  Combining their different expertises they started their own restaurant, C&S Oyster Bar, which opened to the public at its original Cobb Parkway location in 2007 and quickly became a staple in the Vinings community.  The Sandy Springs location opened their doors in 2020, introducing a fresh identity while honoring the valuable traditions of the original.

Atmosphere

C&S Oyster Bar is located just north of I-285 for convenience in Sandy Springs on Roswell Road.  Opened seven nights a week as well as for weekday lunch and weekend brunch, guests can anticipate an elegant and inviting atmosphere inspired by Late Art Deco style of the 1940s and 50s.  The furniture is stylish, the fixtures are stunning, and the interiors bring pride to custom millwork.  Designed by Z-Space Design, the 4,800 square-foot space contains a mezzanine level exclusive dining room, a radiant bar, and a confined patio.

The menu pays homage to timeless favorites while showcasing standout specialties. Guests can enjoy offerings from the raw bar, inventive hors d’oeuvres, premium steaks, and fresh market fish. Highlights include Oysters, Octopus, Bone Marrow Escargot, Surf & Turf, and Sea Bass with Shrimp.
