The premium components and filters are contained within a protective, powder-coated aluminum chassis. The design is sleek and takes up little space as it’s only 29” by 25”, weighing 59lbs. Clearsource: Three Stages of Water Filtration

Clearsource’s home water filtration filters water three times before it reaches your tap using these three stages. 

Stage 1

The 5-micron filter removes or reduces rust and sediment from the home’s pipe system. This type of filter is capable of removing particles that are 5 microns or larger. This would be the size of dirt particles such as silt that weren’t removed from the city’s filtration systems. For even better perspective, a mature red blood cell is approximately 6-8 microns in diameter. Clearsource aims to provide clean water consumption even if the home has old pipes. Especially older homes with galvanized steel pipes, which are known to rust and corrode. 

Stage 2

The 0.5-micron coconut shell carbon block filter improves taste and removes or reduces chlorine, volatile organic compounds, and other contaminants. Clean water is just the first step in Clearsource’s vision. They didn’t simply stop at cleaning the water. They take pride in water that tastes fresh without the contaminants that affect your tap. 

Stage 3

Clearsource-exclusive VirusGuard filter uses an electrically charged coating to trap man-made chemicals, trace pharmaceuticals, volatile organic compounds, lead, and even viruses. The VirusGuard filter uses NASA-developed technology using electro-adhesive media. This technology is used for Clearsource’s RV water filters, however. The VirusGuard filter is an essential step in the three-step process for their home water filtration system. 

Through these protective stages, the advanced filters reduce heavy metals such as ferrous iron, lead, mercury, and arsenic, and removes over 99% of bacteria, viruses, and cysts.
