Although launching the business had its challenges, the payoff has always been in the results. Rich is especially drawn to Mercedes-Benz projects. These vehicles give him space to push design boundaries while staying true to the client’s vision.

Sam’s Perspective and Industry Impact

Sam plays an equally vital role in shaping Elite Customs. As a woman in a traditionally male-dominated space, she brings balance and creativity. “Being a female in this industry is a superpower,” she shared. Sam believes in following intuition and encourages other women to break the mold. “Do things your way… we’re meant to come in and shake things up.”

One of the most talked-about projects Elite Customs has taken on is the tribute build for Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll. Through mutual friends, the collaboration came together naturally. Sam led the creative direction for Bunnie’s G-Wagon, combining both Bunnie and Jelly’s personalities. The build featured Easter eggs and a custom grill named after Jelly’s bar.

Another highlight was the black Lincoln project. Rich initially turned it down, thinking it had been done before. But he eventually accepted and gave it a new twist. He finds the most inspiration when clients say, “Hey, do what you want on it.” That trust allows the team to go beyond the expected and build something truly unique.
