Jittery Joe’s and Fox Theatre Honors History
Theater and coffee have a shared history, stretching back centuries. For example, medieval coffeehouses filled with artists, to Victorian-era cultural salons, and later, 1960’s coffeehouse theater movements. Today, that lineage finds new expression in Atlanta. Introducing Blue Sky Blend, a collab between two Georgia icons, the Fox Theatre and Jittery Joe’s.

A Collaboration Written in The Stars
In January 2026, the Fox Theatre partnered with Jittery Joe’s to launch Fox Theatre Blue Sky Blend, a custom small-batch roast. Further, the title and design is inspired by the iconic Fox Theatre ceiling sky — a blue background adorned with stars. More than a product, the blend honors the enduring relationship between performance and curation, offering patrons a way to take a piece of theatre with them after a priceless experience. It makes for the perfect souvenir/gift for theatrical ethuasists, even after the beans are gone. The attention to detail and design makes the container a keepsake within itself.
Behind The Blend: The History of Jittery Joe’s
Founded in Athens, Georgia, in 1994, Jittery Joe’s began roasting beans just steps away from famous Watt Club. Known for its playful creativity—think honey lattes, caramel apple cider, and blueberry matcha—the brand has expanded well beyond its college-town roots. Yet, they remain deeply committed to small-batch roasting and quality-driven sourcing. Additionally, under the supervision of longtime roastmaster Charlie Mustard, Jittery Joe’s works with beans sourced from more than 15 countries.

Find Jittery Joe’s At Fox Theatre Gift Shop!
Jittery Joes’ dedication to craft makes the partnership with the Fox Theatre a natural fit. Specifically, as a nonprofit cultural cornerstone in Atlanta, the Fox hosts more than 200 public performances each year and welcomes over 500,000 visitors annually. Moreover, both institutions uphold high standards for their craft, and overall, set a high bar in their respective fields.

The Fox Theatre Blue Sky Blend is available onsite at the Fox Theatre Gift Shop(opens two hours before showtime), as well as online at jitteryjoes.com. Fifteen percent of all sales goes to Fox Gives’ preservation and education initiatives. Since 2008, Fox Gives has awarded more than $4.7 million in grants to preserve and restore historic theaters across Georgia. In addition, they have educated more than 74,000 students on the Fox Theatre’s history, cultural impact, and career pathways in the arts. This level of discernment for meaningful impact is why Fox Theatre has gone strong for nearly a hundred years.
